Pronouns: He/Him/His

Jeremy Nickel’s facilitation journey began with early informal medicine work, where he discovered a natural ability to hold space for those in states of vulnerability and transformation. This calling deepened in his chaplaincy at Massachusetts General Hospital, accompanying dying patients and their families at the threshold of life and death. In those moments, Jeremy cultivated a practice of deep listening, presence, and care—skills that became the foundation for all of his facilitation work.

Following his hospital chaplaincy, Jeremy served as a Unitarian Universalist minister, a role that affirmed his commitment to openness, interfaith dialogue, and love that transcends religious or non-religious boundaries. In UU communities, he guided individuals and groups through experiences of meaning-making, belonging, and healing, always emphasizing the universal human capacity for connection beyond dogma. At the same time, he began pioneering work in immersive technology, designing VR and AI-based wellness platforms to expand access to contemplative and therapeutic practices.

These parallel paths—informal medicine work, chaplaincy, ministry, and technology—converge seamlessly in Jeremy’s current focus on psilocybin-assisted therapy. His approach integrates timeless pastoral care with cutting-edge tools, offering individuals a compassionate and grounded space to encounter healing and transformation. A graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies’ Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program and InnerTrek’s advanced training, Jeremy continues to deepen his skills at the intersection of care, presence, and expanded states.
