Jamie Denier - Bring Joy Home LLC
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience providing trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based psychotherapy. I bring a grounded, compassionate, and integrative approach to healing, supporting adults who are seeking meaningful change, deeper self-understanding, and relief from long-standing emotional and psychological distress.
My clinical work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel safe, supported, and empowered to reconnect with their inner wisdom. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is collaborative, affirming, and paced to honor each client’s unique nervous system and lived experience.
Clinical Focus & Areas of Support
I work with individuals navigating:
- Anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
- Trauma and complex trauma (including developmental and relational trauma)
- Life transitions, identity exploration, and personal growth
- Substance use and recovery
- Complex family dynamics and attachment wounds
- Legal stressors and high-stakes life circumstances
- Severe and persistent mental illness
I have extensive experience supporting clients with layered clinical presentations and work from a strengths-based, non-pathologizing lens.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client. I draw from:
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) (with a strong focus on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness)
- Trauma-informed and attachment-based frameworks
- Mindfulness and somatic awareness
- Animal-Assisted Therapy principles, when appropriate
I am currently completing a 10-month training in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, with a focus on ethical, intentional, and clinically grounded preparation and integration work.
Natural Medicine & Integration Work
As a Natural Medicine Integration Therapist (NMIT), I provide preparation and integration support for clients engaging in legal, regulated natural medicine experiences. My role is to help clients:
- Clarify intentions and readiness
- Develop emotional regulation and grounding skills
- Explore meaning, insight, and personal narratives that emerge
- Integrate experiences into sustainable, values-aligned life changes
I approach integration work with humility, curiosity, and respect for both the medicine experience and the client’s autonomy. This work is always conducted within a trauma-informed, ethical, and client-centered framework.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients often describe me as warm, attuned, direct when helpful, and deeply invested in their growth. I balance compassion with clinical clarity and believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space.
