Erin Pappas, R.N., Director of Services and Lead Facilitator
I am dedicated to creating meaningful, life-changing experiences for my clients. With over 25 years of personal and professional exploration into the healing potential of plant medicines, I bring a grounded, integrative approach to psychedelic care. My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, understood and supported. I’m currently pursuing my doctorate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Oregon Health & Science University to deepen my clinical scope and bridge ancestral wisdom with modern mental health care.
As one of the first legal, licensed psilocybin facilitators in the U.S., I’ve helped shape Oregon’s emerging psychedelic landscape and continue to be active on the legislative level, recently selected to be on the Rules Advisory Committee for the State Regulatory board. I’m a member of OPENnurses (Organization of Psychedelic and Entheogenic Nurses), and active with Bends vibrant psychedelic community, hosting space for integration circles and book clubs.
With 18 years of experience as a registered nurse, I bring compassionate, trauma-informed care to every client I serve. My work is rooted in deep listening and a belief in each person’s innate capacity to heal. I specialize in supporting women navigating trauma and major life transitions, as well as those seeking spiritual connection, living with C-PTSD, addiction, anxiety, or depression. In addition, I am developing a groundbreaking program for parents of nonverbal autistic children, helping them use psilocybin in a slightly different context to deepen connection and provide perspective about the diagnosis.
As Director of Services at Drop Thesis, my mission is to expand access to psilocybin in a way that is ethical, professional, and grounded in deep respect for the medicine. I am committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and care, while still honoring the sacred, mysterious nature of the mushroom spirit. I believe this work should be available to all who seek it—not just the privileged few—and I’m passionate about creating pathways for healing that are both clinically sound and spiritually meaningful.
Outside of my professional work, I live in beautiful Bend, Oregon, where I enjoy hiking, meditation, and cheering for my beloved New England sports teams. You can usually find me on the river trail with my rescue dog, Oopsie. I’m also the proud mother of two incredible grown children—my daughter, who is following in my footsteps by pursuing nursing, and my son, who currently serves in the U.S. Air Force.
