Gather Center provided an incredible environment for my recent ceremony. I specifically chose the ‘Water’ room, and the themed atmosphere added a profound layer of peace to the entire experience. The staff member on-site was exceptional—grounded and supportive, they truly helped facilitate a safe and respected space. One of the most impactful parts of my journey was the presence of a captivating painting in the room by a local artist. It depicts an ocean wave crashing against a large rock with rainbows of light streaming through from behind. I was so drawn to it during my time there that I went on a mission to track down the artist afterward. While I eventually found him, I learned he only really creates one-of-a-kind originals. It makes that specific piece feel even more special, like a once-in-a-lifetime encounter meant just for that room. While the space was beautiful, my only small suggestion would be to add a running water feature or fountain. The ambient sound of water would have been the perfect final touch to the immersion. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meaningful retreat. I will definitely be returning.
